It’s so much fun: Plotting with the happy/nervous guy about the just the right place, the secret code word we’ll use and then having a ring side seat to watch their happy moment unfold while I get to photograph it is just so… well...romantic!

Romantic Waikiki Surprise Proposal Photography
Your Surprise Proposal can take place at nearly any location on Oahu, from Waikiki beaches to lesser known, off-the-beaten-path beaches and we will happily recommend several according to your needs and desires. The best time of day for surprise proposal photography is usually early morning or late afternoon for the softest, warmest light, however, it will really depend on the location.
To reserve an Oahu surprise proposal photography session, a deposit is required and is refundable if canceled more than 72 hours before your session. Refunds are NOT given for anything beyond our personal control - like weather, wind, sunburns, rain, wet clothes, etc. Rescheduling due to weather is at our discretion*.

Surprise Proposal Video Bonus!
As an added bonus, we also offer free of charge, a GoPro video of your proposal! By attaching a GoPro video to the top of our camera, we can capture your proposal in stunning video from the viewpoint of the camera. We offer this free of charge, and without any editing - we simply give you the actual files. It’s not as good as having a dedicated videographer on hand, but then it is free. :-) See example video:

Surprise Proposal Photography Packages
The Waikiki Package - $400
A 30 minute proposal photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 40 edited images at Full Resolution.** Available only between 8am -4pm and limited to Sandy Beach, Waialae Beach, Hilton Village & Magic Island locations.
The Aloha Package - $750
A 60 minute proposal photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 75 edited images at Full Resolution.** Good for any location on Oahu but only available for sunset sessions on the East end of Oahu (not North Shore, Ko Olina, etc)
The Oahu Package - $1000
A 90 minute proposal photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 100 edited images at Full Resolution.** Good for any location on Oahu and for sunset/sunrise sessions.
The Hawaiian Package - $1600
Our double session option, for those who want the maximum variety of images and backgrounds - typically used for two locations/sessions of 90 min each (ex: one morning/day session, one sunset session) . Includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 200 edited images at Full Resolution.**
*SOOC stands for “Straight Out Of Camera,” unedited, untouched proofs. See examples here.
**Edited images are edited for color, white balance, exposure, cropping, straightening, etc, as well as general clean up. Editing is fully at the discretion of the photographer. Does not include “photoshopping.” Hint: all the images shown on this website were edited & delivered as shown.
After Your Surprise Proposal Session
The average surprise proposal session typically results in 150-350 images, depending of course on the package you choose. After your surprise proposal photography session, your images are professionally edited for clarity, exposure, color and composure and typically finished within two days. You will be sent an email link to view and download your images as well as select your prints using the Print Credit included with your package. The option to purchase the full resolution digital images as well as prints large and small, photo books, collages and other products will be available from the gallery, if you so desire.
